Lessee to have the option of the rent being fixed by valuation at the end of each 21-year period, or of the new lease being put up to public auction. (See provisions of Section 5 of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, and first and second schedules thereto.) Lessee not to assign or sub-let without consent of the Board. Lessee to repair. Lessee not to erect buildings unless plan approved by the Board. Lessee to insure, and, in event of fire, insurance money to be expended in rebuilding. Tenders must be addressed to the Chairman, Auckland Harbour Board; must be endorsed on the envelope “Tender for Lease’’; and must be in the hands of the Secretary by noon on TUESDAY, March 4, 1930.
