10-MILE CHAMPIONSHIP
CHRISTCHURCH MEETING Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. Today. is to be held Into the tiding of a number of the competitors m the ten-mile Australasian Cycle Championship held at English Park w 5 - P ‘ O-Shea, E. W. Hill, W. T. Weir and S. A. Jordan will be summoned before a special meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the Cycling Union next Wednesday evening. The matter was discussed at a meeting of the centre last evening. The chariman. Mr. W. J. Walter, said that the race was not as cleanly ridden as it might have been.

The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Union of Cyclists will decide its provincial championships on February 26, at tlie Western Springs Stadium. These will include a junior championship sprint (two laps), an unpaced championship time trial, 1,000 metres motor-paced championship over five miles, and a human-paced championship over ten miles. The centre will run a time trial race on Monday next, a trophy being given for the first and second places. The first eight riders will be those chosen to ride in the unpaced championship.
