WHAU BRIDGE ACCIDENT
BUS AND LORRY COLLIDE
An accident occurred on the ‘onecar” Whau Bridge at Avondale at: 3 p.m. yesterday, when a truck owned by Ernest and Herbert Craig, Limited, collided with one of the Auckland Bus Company's buses. The front of the bus was damaged to some extent, the radiator being forced back, while the truck was pushed against the rails of the bridge and its rear wheel smashed.
