CONFIDENCE IN LEADER
SUPPORTERS OF REFORM FRANKLIN AND HAURAKI X meeting of’ the Reform Party's supporters in the Franklin and Hauraki electorates was held in the Paragon Theatre last evening. Mr. E. X). McLennan, the former member for Franklin, presided. Addresses were given by the of the Opposition. the Rt. Hon. J. O. Coates, Mr. A. M. Samuels. M.P. (Thames). Air. Arthur Mali, M.P. (Hauraki) and Mr. J. X. Massey. M.P. (Franklin). The following resolution was carried unanimously: That this representative meeting of electors of the Frank>in and Hauraki electorates expresses its confidence in the Reform Party, and commends its activities, and pledges itself to assist to return its •-andidate at the next election. This meeting records its appreciation of the Rr. Hon. J. G. Coates as leader of the Reform Party, and assures him of its whole-hearted loyalty and support.” A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. Coates and the other members of Parliament for their addresses.
