A girl named Violet Dempsey, aged 14, who disappeared from her home in Chester Street last Friday, was found yesterday afternoon by her guardian. Mrs. Kay, in a narrow right-of-way between her house and the premises next door. The girl was in a heap of sacks and old clothing in a clump of elderberry bushes. The girl was sick and feverish and did not want to come out. She had been afraid of a reprimand for disobedience.
