PLAZA

LAST DAYS OF “FROZEN JUSTICE” A half-caste beauty of the North, Talu, with a soul of fire and a charm which enslaves all men—Lenore Ulric’s most sensational role, “Frozen Justice,” is the title and it is nearing the end of its season at the Plaza. Men of the North —bold, handsome and intriguing—go to their deaths to win Talu’s affection. She dares the wrath of tribal gods and flees. But soon she is disillusioned by the tinsel dance hall life in “civilised” Nome. A brilliant cast under Allan Dwan’s masterful direction, includes Louis Wolheim, Robert Frazer, Tom Patricola, El Brendel, Laska Winter, Ullrich Haupt and others. Pirate treasure exerts its mysterious charm in “Barnum Was Right,” Universal’s talking farce-comedy costarring Glenn Try on and Merna Kennedy, which will be the new attraction at the Plaza Theatre on Saturday. Trjmn essays the role of proprietor of a summer hotel in a pirate-haunted region in this hilarious comedy. Beautiful titian-haired Miss Kennedy portrays his leading lady, and the exceptional cast includes Otis Harlan, in a featured role, Basil Radford, Clarence Burton, Lew Kelly, Isabella Keith and Gertrude Sutton. The picture, based on the successful Broadway farce of the same name, was directed by Del Lord.
