VICTORIA, DEVONPORT

The personality of one of the most popular heroes of modern light fiction has been admirably transferred to the screen in “Bulldog Drummond.” now at the Victoria Theatre, Devonport. The film is even more exciting than the stage version, and should prove immensely popular. In the title role, Ronald Colman gives a fine performance, and he is supported by Joan Bennett, Lilyan Tashman, Montague Love, and many other players of note. The story deals with the adventures of Captain Hugh Drummond, a demobilised British Army officer who finds peace-time unexciting after the war.
