MESSAGE OF FAREWELL The retiring Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson. who sailed frofh Wellington by the Rangitata on Saturday, has wired the Mayor of Auckland, Mr. G. Baildon, as follows:—'We thank you sincerely for your farewell message, and for all the happy memories of Auckland and its kind people.’
