FARMER’S SUICIDE
DROWNED IN CREEK JPress Association GISBORNE, Today. A verdict of suicide was returned by the coroner in connection with the death of Peter Wilson Muir, aged 43, a farmer, of Manutuke, who leaves a widow, three daughters and one son. On Monday morning at 8 o’clock Muir had not come into the house for breakfast and a search was made by his daughter. It resulted in the discovery of his body lying face down in a few inches of water in a creek on the farm.
