CANADA TO COMPETE WITH RAIL GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY Reed. 9.5 a.m. MONTREAL, Tues. Government subsidies for an airplane passenger service are intimated by General J. W. Macßrieii, Director of Government Air Services, to enable rates on a par with railways to be charged, instead of rates three times as large, as at present.
