Attendants in Picturesque Frocks

A MOST distinctive gown of exquisite limerick lace mounted on ivory chiffon was chosen by Miss Ada Kona Rainger. elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rainger, "Te Kiteroa/’ Domett Avenue, Epsom, for her wedding this afternoon to Mr. John Richard Kingston, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. -J. Kingston, of Victoria Avenue.

Fashioned on grraceful lines, with long clos-e-fitting sleeves, the slender corsage flared ever so slightly to give a soft fullness to the skirt, which was cleverly draped from the waist at the back to form a sweeping train. The train-length veil of ivory tulle, edged with a wide band of Honiton, was arranged with a cap banded with lace and orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of lilies. St. Mark’s Church, Remuera, where the ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. C'. Cruickshank, was decorated by the bride’s friends, and was fragrant with summer flowers in blue and white colours. Mr. Wm. Rainger gave his daughter away. Her attendant maids were Miss Connie Rainger, her sister, and Miss Gwen Kingston, sister of the b r i d e g r o o m. Their picture frocks were of ivory chiffon, and the skirts, consisting of rows upon rows of narrow frills mounted on net, dipped to the ankles at the back. At the back of each frock, slightly to one side, was worn a large bow, with streamer ends of love-in-a-mist blu° taffeta. Their court shoes were of matching blue marocain, and their wide-brimmed blue crinoline hats, edged with tulle, were trimmed with a knot of blue taffeta. Roth maids carried a sheaf of blue flowers. Little Liana Frater, as flower-girl, wore a frilly chiffon frock made similarly to those worn by the bridesmaids. Round her hair was a band of blue ribbon, tying in a bow on one side, and she carried a basket of blue flowers.
