ROWNTREE’S POSITION The inability of R. W. Rowncree to play "for Auckland in the M.C.C. game was discussed at length in committee by the management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association at its weekly meeting last evening. It was then decided to call a special meeting of the comnSittee, to meet in committee, on Thursday evening, to investigate the position further, after which a short official statement of the finding will be made available for the Press.
