SIR CHARLES STATHAM WILL NOT DISCUSS QUESTION RUMOUR IN SOUTH Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. Asked concerning tlie rumour o£ an attempt to form a new political party with his name mentioned as the possible leader, Sir Charles Statham, Speaker of the House of Representatives said: “1 know nothing whatever about a new party and while I am Speaker 1 cannot, and will not, take any hand in party politics. I decline even to discuss the question.”
