PAY FOR DAY’S WORK IN COAL PITS
ALL-OUT POLICY REJECTED
Reed. 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. It is understood the rank and file members of the miners’ conference at Newcastle rejected a proposal to adopt an all-out policy. The Minister of Mines, Mr. F. B. Chaffey, referring to what can be earned at Rothburv, says one miner made £3 2s 6d and a filler £2 2s 6d in one day.
