The Indian loan of £6,000,000 wa< oversubscribed after the lists ha i been open for only 90 minutes. India’s loan Is issued at 99. It is repayable at par in Jane, 1932. but m.»\ be extended i year, in which case ir will be repaid at 101. Allowing for redemption in 1932 tho loan will yield £6 9s per cent.: if the stock is redeemed in 1933 the yield will be tin 12s 3d per cent. The object # of the loan is to repay maturing bills due <;>n February 27.
