TWO EXPERIMENTING DOCTORS DEAD

Reed. 9.5 a.m. WASHINGTON. Sun. Dr. William Royal Stokes and Dr. Harry Anderson, officials of the Hygienic Laboratory of the United States Public Health Service, who handled the parrots which were afflicted by psittacosis. Lave died of fever. They were ill for a fortnight. They took extreme precaution in the experiments. bur. they nevertheless caught the malady and became desperately ill.
