GANG HOUNDS OUT HOSTILE WITNESS POLICE ASKED FOR AID Reed. 11.26 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A man named York, whose evidence led to the conviction of a razor gangster in Sydney 18 months ago, has appealed to the police here for protection of himself and his wife. He states they have been hounded out in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide by underworld friends of the convicted man, and are now destitute, and in fear of their lives, unless they can escape from Australia.
