HIGH SOFTWOOD DUTY OPPOSED Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The representatives of the Master Timber Merchants’ Association waited upon the Federal Assistant Minister of Industries, Mr. F. M. Forde, with a reques: that the duty on softwoods should not be increased, eis sought by the country sawmillers.
