Round the Churches
Divine services, morning and evening. will be conducted at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parnell, by Canon Fancourt, whose subject in the evening will be “Why I Believe in God.”
“The Power of Song” will be the ■ubject chosen by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher at the e\-ening service of the Beresford Street Congregational Church.
Archdeacon Mac Murray will be the preacher at the morning service of St, Matthew’s Church, Wellesley Street ind in the evening the preacher will be Canon Grant Cowen.
Mr. T. W. Silcock will preach upon “The Man of Tomorrow” at the 7 ©clock evening service of the Auckland Higher Thought Temple.
At the Pitt Street Methodist Church the Rev. T. B. Woolloxall will preach in the morning and in the evening the preacher will be the Rev. W. Walker.
Morning and evening services will be* conducted at both the Edendale Presbyterian Church. Balmoral Road and the Somervell Memorial Church, Kemuera.
The preachers at the morning and evening services at St. Paul’s Church, Devon port, will be the Rev. W. Lawson Marsh and Mr. J. W. Shaw respectivel:.
There will be a reassembling of C.E. Societies at the 11 o’clock morning service of the Grange Road Baptist Church. The speaker will be Mr. H. Dense m.
Afternoon and evening services will be conducted b3* the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Grey Lynn.
Mrs. Philpotts will deliver the Address at the 7 o’clock evening service of the Progressive Church of Spiritualists. Newmarket.
Student E. C. Grey and Mr. S. Hindmarsh will be the respective preachers at the Auckland West Methodist Circuit.
Divine services will be conducted by the Avondale Methodist Church and the New Lynn Methodist Church.
The Christadelphians, Freemasons' Hall. Belgium Street, will hold morning and evening meetings. * * *
Mr. J. E. A. Gates will speak at the evening meeting of the International Bible Students’ Association.
An afternoon meeting will be held by the Men’s Brotherhood, Y.M.C.A., at 4.15 o’clock.
Services will be conducted by the Methodist Central Mission, _ Airedale Street.
Morning and evening services will be conducted by the First Church of Christ, Christian Science, Symonds Street.
