ORDER OF ST. JOHN

APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAPLAIN REV. G. E. MORETON That the King had sanctioned the appointment of the Rev. G. E. Moreton in the grade of chaplain to the Order was the advice received in Dunedin recently from M£ijor-General Sir Percival S. The numbers of chaplains of the order is limited to 30 in the British Empire, and the only other churchman who has gained this appointment in New Zealand is Archbishop Averill.
