There was a fair attendance at the ; sixteenth annual show of the King 1 Country Central A. and P. Associa-
tion, held on Thursday at the Te Kuiti ! Racing Club’s course at Te Kumi. On account of the adverse weather j experienced during the past months, | entries were not quite as numerous as i last year, but the quality of the ex- j hibits was well maintained. Several \ pens of exceptionally good quality | calves were entered, which augurs well j for ftitiire generations of stock. In j the sheep section, entries were more i numerous, Southdowns being well re- j presented. Home industries and vege- i tables farmed a pleasing display. The champion hack of the show and also of the King Country was T. L. Paton’s Cheerio.
