AUSTRALIAN MANAGER’S QUEST

Mr. Edwin Geach, managing director of Union Theatres. Limited, Sydney, in company with Mrs. Geach, will arrive in Wellington during the month on the R.M.S. Tahiti, en route to America, PJngland and the Continent. Mr. Geacli’s mission is to investigate thoroughly talking picture reproducing equipment for use in the company’s studio at Bondi, where later in the year, it is expected that talking picture production will begin. Mr. Geach will be in close touch with British Dominion Films, Limited, and will intimate what class of British pictures are most suitable for the Australian and New Zealand market. .
