■ RINCESS JULIANA OF HOLLAND, heiress to the Throne of the Netherlands, who is now finishing her studies at Leyden University, is, according tb the Dutch newspaper “Telegraaf,” to be married to the German Prince Wilhelm of ErbachSchoenberg. It is believed that an official announcement of the betrothal will shortly he made. The future Prince Consort of the Netherlands, who is 25, was recently a guest of the Royal family at The Hague. Princess Juliana, who is 20, is the only child of Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. Very simply brought up, the Princess is a somewhat serious-minded girl, who is greatly interested in her studies and in the sports in which she joins with her fellow students at Leyden. Royal Voyage It was announced recently that Princess Juliana, after finishing her studies, would visit the Dutch East Indies, on a Royal voyage of pomp and splendour. Dutch law requires that the heir to the throne shall have her own palace and Court, and it has been fulfilled by providing the Princess with a modest bungalow at Katwiyk-on-Sea, near Leyden, where she lives with three students.
During holidays and at week-ends the Princess lives with her parents at The Hague.
