SERVICES RECOGNISED
PRESENTATION TO CANNON McFarland
The good work done by Canon E. J. McFarland during the time he acted as vicar of St. John the Baptist Church, Northcote, was recognised at a social on Thursday.
The Rev. F. W. Wilkes, the new vicar, presided.
On behalf of the parishioners, Mrs. H. Cadness presented Canon McFarland with a silver tea service, and eulogistic speeches were made by Messrs. H. Cadness, P. C. Minns, PI. W. Wilson, and C. A. Deuxberry.
