CONFERENCE IN SOUTH Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Retail Watchmakers’ and JewIlers’ Association of New Zealand helc ts thirteenth annual conference in Wellington on Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. H. S. Hislop presided. Mr. J. Williams, of Wanganui, was elected president for 1931, and it is probable that next year’s conference will be held in Wanganui. The following were elected as the executive council for the present year:—Messrs. H. M. Conway, chairman, M. M. Heinemann, treasurer; H. W. Lloyd, C. IT. Sherwood, S. F. AfcLean, G. Morris and T. Tremayne. Mr. G. F. Judd was appointed secretary.
