ELLERSLIE BOWLING
The Ellerslie Bowling Club held a full-rink tournament yesterday under good conditions, the greens being very fast. The winning team, with four wins and one loss, was Carter, Mitchell, Duncan, Turner (Carlton). Following were the results: —Turner, 4 wins, 1 loss; Gollan, 3 wins, 2 losses; Coppins, 3 wins, 2 losses; Knight, 3 wins, 2 losses; Prangley, 3 wins, 2 losses; Henry, 2 wins, 3 losses; Law, 1 win, 4 losses; Batterson. 1 win, 4 losses. NORTHERN WAIKATO STARS A match for the Northern Waikato Bowling Association’s stars. between Waiuku and Clevedon (holders), resulted as follows. Clevedon names being mentioned first:—Alunro, AlcKellar, Farrer, Bush 9, v. Bridle, Whiteside, Jones. Neil 30.
