INDECENT ASSAULT ALLEGED

Tne trial of John Stuart Robe.rtson, aged 43, charged with indecently assaultmg two little girls at Nicholson 1 ark playground on January 16, was concluded in the Supreme Court this morning. The children, aged eight and ten years, described the conduct of the accused toward them while they were playing a.t the playground. Constable Hunt, to whom a complaint was made, said he surprised tho accused mishandling one of the children. In evidence, accused said he had been giving the children swings, but emphatically denied indecent conduct. 1 The jury retired at 12.30.
