Tho heavy supply of fruit at the City Markets has been responsiblie for a drop in prices, a notable reduction being in peaches, which are plentiful. There is no demand for small and inferior grade apples, and there is still a poor demand for plums. Bon Chretien. pears are increasing in quantities, and tomatoes are rising in value. Oranges, apples and nectarines show no important change. k The vegetable market is heavily supplied with potatoes, onions, cabbages and marrows.
