NOVELIST’S DEATH

EDWIN WILLIAM PUGH

LONDON, Thursday. The death has occurred of Mr. Edwin Pugh, the novelist, aged 56.

Mr. Edwin AVilliam Pugh was born in London. His first novel was “A. Street in Suburbia.” published in 1895. He also wrote "King Circumstance,” “Fruit of the Vine,” “The Proof ol the Pudding.” Harry the Cockney” lie wrote much on London life, rnd on Charles Dickens, including "Charles Dickons: the Apostle of the People.” and “The Dickens Originals.' He published “The World is Jlv Oj-st-r'' in 1924.
