PIPER AND KAY HAVE SPECIAL LEAVE
TWELVE-DAY TRIP PLAN Reed. 11.30 a.m. SYDNEY. Today. Flying Officers H. L. Piper and C. E. Kay, of the Royal Australian Air Force, have been granted special leave to proceed to England iu a few days, whence they propose to tart in a Hermes de Soutter plane in an attempt to reach Australia in 12 days. Arrangements are being made for oil supplies along the route.
