COMMENT ON AUSTRALIAN AFFAIRS
SCULLIN’S SHARP REPLY Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Dr. Otto Peltzer's comments at Wellington on political interference in economic activities in Australia, and upon other matters, were briefly replied to today by the Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Scullin, who deprecated hasty comment by casual visitors. Mr. Scullin added: “Dr. Peltzcr could hardly be expected to know his subject, since he merely 'ran through the country.’ ”
