CAR DRIVER CHARGED
CASE FOLLOWS DOUBLE FATALITY
NEGLIGENCE ALLEGED From Our Own Correspondent WANGANUI, Today. The sequel to a fatal collision between two motor-cars at an intersection in Wanganui on the evening of January 25 was heard in the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court yesterday when George Mason Glenn, a stock dealer, aged 29, was charged with negligently driving a motor-car and causing the death of Michael Connelly and Alma Joyce Crowthers. Accused pleaded not guilty and after the evidence of Arthur Francis Palmer, driver of the other car, had been heard, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed on his own recognisance of £3OO and one surety of £2OO.
