MAORI ON TRIAL
SERIOUS OFFENCES ALLEGED A Maori, Denny Hunia, was on trial in tho Supreme Court today on charges of committing offences of indecency on his two daughters, at Opotiki in November last year. The trial was presided over by Mr. Justice Smith. Mr. Hubble prosecuted and Mr. Hodgson, of Opotiki, defended the accused. (Proceeding.)
