TO MAKE WORLD TOUR
PRIMATE LEAVING IN MARCH LAMBETH CONFERENCE On March T 1 the Primate of New Zealand, Archbishop Averill, will leavr* Auckland on his way to the Lambeth Conference. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Averill. During his stay in England the archbishop will fulfil many engagements. He .has promised to preach at ’Winchester Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral and Ripon Cathedral. Archbishop ancl Mrs. Averill will make Honolulu tlieir first port of call, and will spend a week there. From Honolulu they will go to Los Angeles and San Francisco, and then up the coast to Vancouver. On the journey across Canada stops will be made at some of the more interesting places, and they will sail from Quebec for Liverpool. After attending the Lambeth Conference, the Archbishop ancl Mrs. Averill will tour England. Scotland and Wales, and in September they will visit the Continent. They hope to return to New Zealand, via Australia, next November.
