THIS RURAL SCENE is no further away from the city than Parnell. Work has begun on the construction, for the Church of England Diocesan Trust Board, of a road to link Gladstone Road and St. Stephen’s Avenue at the base of the St. Stephens Maori College property. A new residential locality will thus be opened up and a traffic route shortened.
