RACES AT TAKAPUNA

GRASS TRACK MEETING The annual grass track meeting of the Auckland Motor Racing Club at the Takapuna racecourse has been set down for March 15. This race meeting has proved very popular in the past, as the surface is the smoothest in the province for this work, and several Dominion and world records have been made there. Fast times are expected when Percy Coleman, seven times Dominion heavyweight champion, sets out to lower his world record: A number of cinder track experts will also be seen in action.
