Following on the refusal of a witness to answer questions put to her by Chief-Detective Carroll and Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., this morning in an alleged carnal knowledge charge, the magistrate directed the police to bring witness, a young girl, before the Children's Court on a charge of perjury. No matter how young the girl is,” he said, “she can’t be allowed to come before the court and perjure herself in this way.”
