TWO ROOMS GUTTED
FIRE AT OTAHUHU Two rooms were gutted by fire which broke out in a five-roomed house in Moa Street, Otahuhu, at about one o'clock this morning. The fire, which had originated in the back of the house, was burning fiercely when the Otahuhu brigade arrived, but good work on the part of the brigadesmen soon brought the outbreak under control. The rest of the house escaped damage. The house is owned ,and occupied by Mrs. Close.
