TWO MEN INJURED From Our Own Correspondent MATAMATA, Today, Two young men on a motor-cycle Darby Manning, Wellington, and Norris Madden, Epsom, met with an accident while touring to Arapuni on the Waliaroa road at 11.30 o’clock yesterday morning. A tyre burst and the young men were thrown to the ground. They were found by Mr. Donald McDonald, a cream carter, and taken to the Matamata hospital by Mr. Salter, of Waharoa. Madden suffered slight concussion and abrasions, and Manning a broken leg and severe concussion. His condition is serious.
