ALL PRIMARY CLASSES START TODAY LONG HOLIDAYS OVER The schoolboy, with shining morning face, no longer creeps unwillingly to school, if the happy, smiling youngsters who assembled at city schools this morning are any indication. At one school, however, a Sun representative found a group of disgruntled children who claimed that their six weeks’ holiday did not end until Wednesday, and were demanding that extra days be added to the Easter vacation. All primary schools in the Auckand education district opened this morning. Inside the buildings there was the usual hustle and bustle as children were directed to their various classes, and as the newcomers were put through their paces to determine their grading. There were the usual small boys and girls, wide-eyed a nd rather fearful, who were having 'heir first introduction to learning, and their older friends, full of importaS j e ’ w ere explaining everything, and outlining in a few brief but pithy words the characteristics of the vari°us teachers. The children were not as sunburnt us morning as they were a year ago, “t many a healthy coat of tan showed ."at beaches had not lost their popu•arity in spite of adverse weather conmuons.
