WOMAN DISAPPEARS
FOOTPRINTS lead to river BANK DRAGGING PARTY AT WORK NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Mrs. C. Hooper, of Hawera, who was suffering from ill-health, while staying with iter sister, Mrs. 13. Dunbar, of Urenui, disappeared at S p.m on Saturday. Search parties were out all Saturday night, and at daylight found footprints on the river bank leading to the water, but not returning. Dragging operations so far have revealed nothing.
