WELLINGTON POLICE COURT Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. For being drunk in charge of a motor-car, Frederick William Hislop, a motor salesman, aged 30, was fined £ls and his licence was cancelled for 12 months. Arthur Kent and Daniel Burke, charged with unlawfully deserting from the steamer Mahana, were sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment, and ordered to be placed aboard before the vessel leaves Napier on Tuesday.
