TRYING AGAIN
The week of May 12 to 1G has been selected for the 1930 women’s golf championship in England, to toe played or. the links of the Form by Golf Club in Lancashire. It is expected that Joyce Wethered, who came out of voluntary retirement to compete, will again overlook her prejudice against competitive golf long enough to defend the title she won so sensationally from Glenna Collett, national women's golf champion of the United States. If the two girls meet it will truly be a battle of champions.
