National Council of Women, held this week. While abroad Miss Lovell-Smith-will represent New Zealand at the International Conference of Women to be helld at Vienna about May of this year. There was a representative gathering of council members, testifying to the ability and the personal popularity of their guest. On behalf of the members of the National Council Mrs. C. A. Fraer presented the guest of the evening with a leather hat box, eulogising the -work that she had done for the council during the last few years.
