TOFUAS’ MOVEMENTS.—CabIe advice has been received by the local office oi the Union Steam Ship Company that the Island passenger steamer Tofua, which arrived at Suva from Auckland on Wednesday afternoon, is to leave there tomorrow morning for Tonga and Samoa. ROTORUA SAILS TOMORROW.—Advice from the New Zealand Shipping Company states that its liner Rotorua, now at Queen’s Whaf unloading the local portion of her cargo from West Coast United Kingdom ports, is to be dispatched at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers to complete discharging. GOLDEN CLOUD SAILS THIS AFTERNOON.—To complete discharging her cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the , O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud is announced to sail at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane are the vessel’s local agents. THE WEST LOQUASSUCK.-A radio message has been received from the American steamer West Loquassuck, which reported that she was putting into Auckland this morning on account of the serious illness of her master, Captain Forsythe, that she is proceeding down the West Coast and will probably make New Plymouth. RANGITANE DUE SUNDAY.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that its new motor-liner Rangitane is expected to clear Wellington at 5 p.m. this day for Auckland, in continuation of its voyage from London and Southampton. The vessel should arrive in port on Sunday morning, and on Monday will start putting out the remainder of her cargo from Home. The Rangitane will commence loading at this port, and is to load also at Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due back at Wellington on February 25, and is scheduled to sail finally from that port on March 1 for Southampton and London, via Panama. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.— The Waikawa left Los Angeles on January 9 for Hobart, Beauty Point, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver direct. The Waitemata left Los Angeles on January 21, is due at Auckland on February 14, and proceeds from here to Wellington, Bluff, Melbourne and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver via Fiji. The Waihemo was to leave Ocean Falls yesterday for San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete loading for Napier, where she is due on March 5, thence to Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Hauraki is loading at San Francisco and Los Angeles for Auckland, where she is due on March 3, proceeding later to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, and returns to Vancouver via. Fanning Island. Tlxe Wairuna. arrived at Lautoka on January 27 and should leave again today for Vancouver direct. The Waiotapu, from Newcastle, is due at Suva today, and leaves again on February 6 for Vancouver direct. MAUNGANUI SAILS 3 p.m.—The Union Steam Ship Company’s inter-colonial passenger steamer Maunganui is announced to clear for Sydney at 3 o’clock this afternoon.
