“Mickey the Mouse” w’ill shortly make his debut to New Zealand picturegoers. He has been acclaimed the uncrowned king of the “Mike.” It is stated that his popularity in England and America is immense, reaching the hearts of young and old. illiterate and literati with more directness than many of the bipedal star?. “Mickey” is the hero of “Talkies.” fairy tale cartoons, and his popularity is so great that he is featured in cinema posters in England in characters as large as those used for billing the stars in the principal pictures.
