CARNIVAL CONCLUDES TOMORROW “ABAYDOS” REVIEWS CARD The Forbury Park Trotting Club’s summer carnival will reach finality tomorrow, when another good card comes up for presentation. With first-day form as a guide, speculators should get somewhere near the mark in their selection of favourites. Waverley Handicap Robei’t Todd should do best off the end, but White Satin and Fifa are so handily placed they will be the elect. Of the others Ambition and Hawkesbury’s Pride may do best. Telegraph Handicap Sunchild’s consistency yesterday will keep him on side with many in the saddle heat, while Cushla d’Oro. who claims two engagements, will be on hand. Erin’s Fortune won so well on Thursday that she should be favourite over Cushla d’Oro (if started) and Sunchild. Gore Handicap Shady Spot w ill be handy if started but may prefer the two-mile go later Cushla d’Oro. Kreisler and Lily Harold all have good prospects, but best backed may be Wrackeen and Morning Sun. Metropolitan Handicap This should prove a fine contest. Athalone.
