“ENOUGH TO DO”
CITY AVOIDS MORNINGSIDE QUESTION ATTITUDE DEFINED No active part in movements on the Morningside Deviation question is desired by the City Council. It was invited last evening to attend a preliminary meeting on the subject in the Chamber of Commerce on February 4, but, on the motion of the Mayor. Mr. C. Baildon, the council’s attitude will be pointed out to the Chamber of Commerce, which sent the invitation. “We have enough to do here,” said Mr. Baildon. “No matter what our individual opinions are. the council should not take .an active part.”
