CAUSE OF WEST INDIES DEPRESSION British Official Wireless RUGBY, Tuesday. Lord Olivier and Mr. D. M. Semple, the Commissioners appointed in August by the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Lord Passfield, to investigate and report upon the state of the sugar industry in the West Indies, returned to London yesterday. Lord Olivier said they had made a thorough survey of the situation. They had visited all the islands and interviewed a great many people.
