TRANSPORT BOARD COMMENDED
Efforts of the Transport Board in expediting the construction of the Dominion Road extension, on which trams will start running next Monday instead of the end of March, as anticipated. were commended at the Mount Albert Borough Council meeting last evening. The council also decided to urge the board to expedite the Edendale extension already authorised and make every endeavour to proceed with the Avondale extension.
